We leven in een tijd waarin technologische ontwikkelingen de mens inhalen. Persoonlijk merk ik dat ik door de vermenging van het digitale en het fysieke, de wereld op een andere manier ben gaan ervaren. Door sociale media ken ik mensen al voordat ik ze überhaupt heb gesproken. Door de constante stroom van informatie die ik binnenkrijg is mijn concentratiespan bijna verdwenen. Mijn geest bevindt zich vaak ergens anders. Ik reis door werelden zonder mij fysiek te verplaatsen. Er is een digitaal filter tussen mij en de wereld ontstaan. Met mijn werk wil ik men laten nadenken over deze ontwikkeling. Met de camera experimenteer ik met licht, beweging en analoge ingrepen die door de lens en sensor vertaalt worden naar een nieuwe realiteit. Zo wil ik de vermenging van de fysieke en virtuele wereld verbeelden.
